Hope Childcare Cork is a full day care service which has relocated to Joe Murphy Road in Ballyphehane Cork. The service caters to children aged 1 year to 5 years. The service has a wobbler class - age 1-2yrs, a toddler class age 2-3yrs, ECCE class 2.8yrs-5yrs and an ASD class age 3+. The service mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for our children. We aim to provide a holistic approach to learning where it encompasses not only mental development but also psychological, social and emotional growth. The schemes available for parents are the NCS, ECCE and home tuition. |
![]() Welcome to Hope Corks brand new toddler and wobbler classes. We cater to ages 1-3yrs in these classes. Our creche classes open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and we offer full time spaces to our students. The classes operate under the Aistear framework and here is where the little learners, develop new skills such social and communication skills through a variety of activities such as music and dance, sensory play and of course the most important imaginative play. The children have a cozy secure sleep areas in both their rooms in case they get super tired from all the exiting activities they do throughout the day. |
![]() We provide a safe and educational learning environment for our children with Autism who can avail of the home tuition scheme. We cater to children ages 3-7 years in this class. We have qualified, passionate staff who have experience working with children with Autism. In this class we offer an ABA based programs that support children’s holistic development. Our children and staff are supported by the company's Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. |
![]() Welcome to our new ECCE class. This class runs all year through with the ECCE sessions running for 38 weeks per year. The ECCE sessional hours are 9am-12pm, however we accept our pre-school children from 8am-6pm also. This class is a very exciting place to be, the children are learning all about getting ready for big school! The kids also learn different skills such as self care and social and emotional skills which are so important for big school. The class is a Montessori classroom and activities are very much child-led. We offer a variety of activities such as baking, art crafts, construction and outdoor play. The children get to go on outings such as a trip to our local post office and to the library. |
Cork Center Manager
Peter Osigbheme is a caring and dedicated Early Years Practitioner with extensive experience working with young children and their families in early years and special needs settings. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Certificate in Leadership for Inclusion in the Early Years. Since beginning his teaching career in 2021, Peter has worked across a range of early years classrooms, creating fun, engaging, and inclusive environments where children can learn, explore, and grow with confidence. He believes that every child is unique and that learning through play and positive relationships builds the strongest foundation for lifelong growth. Peter joined the HOPE team in September 2023 as an ASD Teacher and now serves as Inclusion Coordinator, Assistant Centre Lead, and Acting Centre Lead. In these roles, he supports children with diverse needs, mentors staff, and helps to create inclusive practices that benefit every child. Peter also works closely with parents and families, offering guidance and reassurance to help them understand and support their child’s individual development. Known for his calm, patient, and thoughtful approach, Peter brings warmth, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching to everything he does. ![]() Sophie O’Rahilly has been a dedicated member of Hope Childcare Cork since April 2022. During her time with the organisation, she successfully completed her Level 6 qualification, supported by the guidance and encouragement of the leadership team. She has embraced numerous opportunities for both personal and professional development, including working across Hope’s services in Limerick and Dublin. These experiences have broadened her perspective and strengthened her expertise in early childhood education. In September 2024, Sophie advanced to the role of Assistant Leader at Hope Cork. In this position, she has gained extensive experience in service management, staff training, and team support. Her role has further honed her leadership, communication, and organisational abilities, all while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and education for every child in the service.
